The Vidyalaya was established in 1976. Vidyalaya was shifted to its newly constructed building on Sep.09,2002. which is situated near the campus of CRPF, on the Jammu-Ambh-Gharota-Road The then hon'ble Commissioner (KVS, New Delhi) Sh. H. M. Caire inaugurated it. The most prime location, attracting the attention of parents, aspiring to get admission of their wards. It has completed 34 years of its fruitful existence has assumed mammoth proportion for the last couple of years in terms of its infrastructure and other academic & non- academic activities. |

1. To cater to the educational needs of children of transferable Central Government employees including defence and para military personnel by providing a common programme of education.
2. To pursue excellence and set the pace in the field of school education.
3. To initiate and promote experimentations and innovations in education in collaboration with other bodies like CBSE, NCERT, etc.
4. To develop the spirit of national integration and create a sense of Indianness among children. |

 I, as
Commissioner, KVS take immense pride and pleasure in
congratulating all the
Members of KVS family on the occassion of its Foundation Day on
15th December, 2012.About five decades ago starting with 20 regimental school today
KVS is an esteemed
institution with 1086 vidhalayas all over India and three
abroad. Through Commitment
and concerted efforts of our dedicated team, sangathan has
become synonymous with
imparting Quality Education.
Since its inception in 1963, Sangathan has been making rapid
strides towards
progress in all fields & stands out as an one of the prestigious
educational
organization with a difference, up-holding the highest traditions,providing
high quality education with emphasis on all round development.
Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan was founded on 15 December, 1956.
With its well
organised structure and well qualified teachers,todays it enjoys
the status of
one of the best educational set ups in India and it is steadily
marching ahead
on the path of growth and achieving new hights of sucess.......
year after year.
Education is the backbone of nation as only proper eduction can
contribute to
the creation of healthy minds and worthy citizens. We should be
proud to be
part of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangthan which is one of the premier
organizations
imparting quality education. Pride in the organization which we
work for
and loyalty towards it are the expectation from all employees.
We should think
of the organizational interest before our own.Only then this
great organization
can flourish & prosper. We should ask for our rights only after
we have
discharged our duties & responsibilities.
I feel greatly honoured to have such a metorious and outstanding
team at KVS and
I wish to take this opportunity to appeal to all the employees
of KVS to work
together in harmony for the members of the sangathan for the
distinguished
services rendered by them.
